Happy New Year to one and all. Huat Ah!!!!

This year, my cny isn't as eventful as the previous few years. It was raining for the eve and the first day of cny. I find it hard to relate to my cousins whom i have only seen once a year. Due to 'overwhelming' response for mahjong game, I didn't really play it so I played PSP, watched some downloaded movies and read some books. There are also very few fireworks this year. The streets are not as lively as before.


My collection of ang bao is still not bad albeit in Ringgit haha.


I forgot to charge my camera. I can't believe I have pea brain.


omg, my cousin who is three days older than me, is GETTING MARRIED. OMG.


Somehow on chu 2, I caught a flu virus and left me sneezing all the way till I came back to Singapore this morning. I'm sick AGAIN!!!!!! ARGH!!!!! This is irritating. I sleep enough, I drink enough, I eat okay food. If walking is considered exercising, then I did quite a bit of exercising. Then why do I fall sick AGAIN??????????????????????????


Went to visit a doc at Raffles Medical @ amk. Given a day of MC for tmr. Luckily I don't have any engagement job for this week.

I'll be gg to Msia this morning (24/1/09) till wednesday morning. =) Since birth, I have nvr spent a single CNY day in Singapore, but i must say msia's cny atmosphere is pretty gd. Dad says I should be feeling shameful if i continue to collect ang pao, but I'm still very much looking forward to collecting them.

There is nth much i can do in Msia. No internet. TV reception is very lousy. One mj table. I can only read some books or watch a bit of tv when the reception is gd.

My engagement at CJ GLS is finally over! Im finally done with all the deadlines in this job. I'll miss the choices of food in IMM. I'll miss my biggest engagement team. I'll miss the clients who always joke with me. But overall, I DUN MISS THIS JOB!!!! I'm so glad its over!!!! SEE U NEXT YEAR!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Regarding all the paycuts and other changes in these audit companies' policies as reported in the newspapers, I'm glad that my company doesn't have much of changes. But I have nvr felt so helpless before. These few days there have been much speculations on any paycut and any policies changes for my company, and there was nth we could do but wait for a reply from CEO. My future, my pay and everything depends so much on the company. Nobody dares to hold a petition, nobody dares to feedback much besides the toil system. I hate to be so feeble.


If i were an environmentalist, I would sue every company for wasting tonnes of papers everyday.

Exactly one year ago, i came back from london.

Im happy that at least there's cny to look forward to.

My nightmare at IMM is ending soon. I was shocked that the A10 who quitted last year is my senior, rachel. :( The curse that the every year an A10 will quit in the midst of the job will be broken this year hahahahhahaaha.

I think its better that you are not treated a meal by your AIC because u are going to work like hell after eating. CK was saying that before we ate the Ichiban set meals , and true enough we had so much work for the next few days.

Im inspired by the Msian accountant girls to be an accountant next time HAHAHAHAHA.

My taste of everything changes. I really love to don Tshirts and denim skirts whenever i go out. Im now having higher expectations of food and movies. Im so spoilt from taking cab during my work that I detest taking public transport and drive out instead during weekends.

Not buying any cny clothes this year. Shall treat those clothes that i haven't worn yet in my wardrobe as my cny clothes.

Sometimes i doubt I have enough $$ for the aussie trip.

No more steamboats, bbq for me. I hate all of these.

I have finally changed hp!!!!! I'm so happy with my new hp!!!!!!

Being someone who is actually not very particular with all the new applications and features, I should be getting a hp which is cheap with basic functions. Instead i chose this E71 hp and paid quite some $$ for it haha.

In Yr 2001, I owned my very first hp nokia 8250. I like the snake game the most. At that time, the blue light was so 'in' that some people with non nokia 8250 modified their hp to install the blue light -_-

Lifespan : 1.5 yrs

In Yr 2003, I owned my 2nd hp nokia 6610. I like the bounce ball game inside. I didn't take good care of the hp and there were so many scratches to it. In the end, I lost it in Yr 2005 in a cab and given its bad condition, I decided to buy a new hp instead of tracking the cab company for my lost hp.

Lifespan: 2 yrs

After losing 6630 in a cab, I bought 7260. Unfortunately, I lost it again when i was staying in hall 6. How i lost it is still a mystery to me.

Lifespan: 0.5 yr

Dad lent me his siemens handphone SL55. I liked it so much but too bad the keypad came out and i had to buy another phone.

Lifespan: 0.5 yr

In Yr 2006, I bought this hp 7370. This is the nicest handphone of all my handphones, and also among other nokia phones. I love it so much that I refused to change but now its getting spoilt so Im forced to change. My family calls it dinosaur hp because its so old now.

Lifespan: Almost 3 years.

Now in 2009, I changed to this hp!!!! Initially i wanted to get the white one, but now i think black is nicer so i got the black one. Shall give omia a miss as i cannot get used to using a touchscreen keypad hp. This hp is definitely a big jump from 7370, which has very very limited features and very small memory space.

I conclude that Im really bad with all electronics gadgets. Either I lose or spoil them.

Great camera skill, great combi, great food.

Another boring weekend at home and shopping on my own. Bump into some people in Far East and in the end I rent some books to read instead of buying clothes because i really cannot find any that i like. I turned down invitations from jean for clubbing and li eng for mj session. I rather nua at home. Am I getting weird and boring????

Elgar said that I learn violin pieces very fast, but I lack practices due to work thus I cannot progress well. The truth is I'm very lazy to practise and my house has lots of children so i cannot play when they are sleeping and they take turns to sleep which means i cannot play for most of the time haha.

My peak period shall start officially from next wk onwards. I'm a bit nervous about it.

I still can't believe its year 2009 because everyday seems the same to me. I still remember all these years vividly since 1999, and 10 years ago I was preparing myself to enter cedar. 10 YEARS AGO!!! omg 10 years had just passed so quickly. I'm 23 years old this year... yucks.. that sounds like just 2 or 3 years away from the marriage age.

Its time for new year resolutions again, although they are not usually achieved every year.

2009 new year resolutions:

1) Spend less money on shopping
2) exercise more, i.e get rid of my small tummy
3) Read more
4) Learn cooking some dishes (im a total kitchen idiot)
